Our adventure in Lee starts at Capel Manor College next to Hadlow College Mottingham Centre. The plan for this journey begins at our friend’s dorm in Carters Hill Close, we were going to start this one at 4am because we had to walk our friend to the college so they could start their morning work. We were going to drop them off at Mottingham Lane and then make our way to Ristorante Carola for early morning Capel Manor College, Mottingham Ln, London SE12 9AWcoffee. We know the owner there and we were going to have breakfast with them at their Italian restaurant.

After dropping our friend off in the dark of the early morning, we headed left at the roundabout on Winn Road, passing Blue Cross rehoming centre. It’s pretty quiet at this time, though there is the odd car. We reach Exford Road, and pass by. Crossing Guibal Road at 5am, people start leaving their homes ready for their commute. Finally, we reach the end of Winn Road and turn right onto Burnt Ash Hill, passing the Burnt Ash Veterinary Clinic where Johnny had an op.

Crossing Westhorne Avenue, the sun was starting to rise, birds were waking up and the earth was warming up. Still on the A2212, we pass Co-op Food – Lee – Burnt Ash Hill where our friend works part time. We stop to buy some more water at Lee Off Licence. Passing The Edmund Halley, we cross the A20 onto the B212 and finally turn right onto Osborn Terrace where we meet our friend for breakfast and coffee.
